Why Not Clifton W Marshall?

Hall cwm.jpg

I am running to serve you in GA House District 103

Why not a forward thinker that believes that the best for Georgians is in the future?  My strengths are analyzing, planning, troubleshooting, and working collaboratively to solve problems.  It is my belief that we are better together, and together, we are the answer to creating an affordable world class educational system, accessible and affordable health care, and a clean air, water, and energy environment.

Why not imagine a third generation Georgian, instilled from childhood the importance of faith in God, doing your best, obtaining a good education, sharing gifts and talents with the community by supporting them as though they were family?

Why not a family man married to a retired teacher that taught in district 103 at Fort Daniel Elementary, proud father of 3 children and 3 grandchildren?  Why not an owner of a family business, retiree with 40 years in the field of engineering, Dartmouth College graduate with a BA in Economics, compassionate and solution-oriented leader?

Why not a man that began his leadership involvement within the walls of Charles L. Harper High as a member of the student council, captain of the basketball and baseball team, and has continued his support across communities from Georgia to Alabama and back to Georgia?

Why not someone new to politics, but seasoned in working with and for the community?  As director of  Sardis Community Center, I managed the budget, staffed workers, and created programs that enhanced the lives of those in the area.  As a co-founder and president of Alabama Inner-City Jaycees, I created and implemented leadership programs for young adult males.  Years vested in quality of life led me to mentor male teens with the Big Brother, and Can You Hear Me Now programs.  Other leadership and community involvement - Deacon at Sardis Baptist Church, Director of Christian Education at St. James UMC, service to the homeless through Trinity Food Kitchen, and service to those in need through Great Day of Service.

As an Admission Ambassador to Dartmouth College, I have interviewed high school graduates as part of the entry process.  My athletic spirit led me to coach and referee community sport teams in football, softball, baseball, and  basketball.  Academia and community involvement has well equipped me to work diligently for that which I am passionate, the improvement of lives.   After all, politics is just that, working with and for the people!

Why not vote for a man that believes in a quality of life for all and will serve the interests of you and your family as well as fight for the betterment of district 103, by supporting the finding of new revenue streams without cutting the budget or raising taxes, really, why not?

Why not Clifton Marshall for GA House District 103?
